Staffy Rescue Queensland
Thank you for supporting rescue staffies, QLD Staffy and Amstaff Rescue (QSAR)
We are all about improving the lives of Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers and their crosses in need of help. We do this by providing rescue, foster care, education, training support, and adoption into safe and loving homes. Our work involves but is not limited to advertising, marketing, transporting, feeding, vet work, medical care, and temporary kenneling, fostering or homing.
QSAR needs all the help it can get so if you are a staffy lover or just an animal lover check out the options below that will help us to not only care for the animals in need of rescue but increase our education and awareness programs to reduce this number.

Howdy folks, I’m T’Challa! Couple of points that I think might be handy to know about me, I’m small but mighty, a pocket rocket one might say. I am also an exceptionally intelligent and emotional dog. I have the drive of a working breed and am going to need a home that is going to keep me physically and mentally stimulated and will give me clear concise instruction. I always try my absolute hardest to please humans and thrive on positive encouragement. I’m not too fond of other animals. Also, kids don’t understand me, so I need a home with adults only please, preferably ones who are experienced with the breed and who can continue my training. I love learning new things and would very much so enjoy going to work with you.
Hi I'm Lloyd! I am a 6 month old spunky pup looking for my furever home. I am only young and am still learning how to become the best dog possible. I sit for my food and I am house trained but you will need to continue my training. I love cuddles & belly rubs & snuggling on the lounge! I'm currently living with my foster fur sister who I adore & we play and wrestle all day & both love to play tug of war! I am a big pup with a heart of gold & full of energy so I love my daily walks & playtime! I also live with my Hooman sister & brother & so I love all children! You will love me I’m a big bundle of joy!
Hello I’m PJ! My foster mum tells me I’m a beautiful big boy but she’s only a bit biased! I love the company of other dogs and would prefer a home with a fur friend. My mum says I am very patient and tolerant with my younger foster sister who wants to play all the time. I’m 6 years old so I don’t like to play as much as her and would rather sleep and explore. I’m learning my basic commands and enjoy going for walks but can be easily distracted by other dogs. My foster mum says it’s important for you to know that I am 50kgs, but I am very gentle. I love scratches under my chin and just like to be near my humans when I can. I get excited when my mum and dad get home but I never jump. Oh and I should probably tell you that I’m not a big fan of cats so if your house has cats then I’m probably not the dog for you. So if it sounds like I am the boy for you, please message the page so we can meet!
Hi I'm Sarge!! Well that's what I was named when I got saved, but I'm not sure I like it much...My foster family has little people who call me Olly and when they call out to me I know that's me and I come running with a huge smile and an excited wiggly body expecting lots of pats and cuddles! My tail is long and strong and of course when I get excited I wag it a lot ? My foster mum tells me I need a little bit of training, to help me with my excitement, but I am a big boy with a huge gentle heart just looking for my furever family and home - could it be you? I'm probably best suited to a family with bigger little people (10 plus) that will play with me lots as I have a lot of energy at times. I am also a gentle giant who loves to give huge bear hugs, so you will need to be big enough for me to be able to do that ? I do enjoy a good walk even though I am still on my learners, I do hope to graduate soon especially if I have strong people to guide me and tell me I'm doing a great job.
